The Mountfield MC48LI Freedom 48 Cordless Chainsaw (without battery) can be used with either a 2Ah or 4Ah battery. The batteries are 48v Lithium-ion and sold seperately and can be used in all the Freedom 48 Li range of gardening tools.

The chainsaw has an easy push button start and will keep going for up to 50 minutes wirth the 4Ah battery, or around 150 cuts through 10cm logs.

Fitted with a 40cm Oregon chain and bar, the world leaders in this field.

The front guard and electric kick back chain brake make this a very safe chainsaw to use. The chain is automatically lubricated and has a clear level indicator for checking the oil level.

The MC48 Li has a no tool chain tensioner and ergonomic handles and weighing only 4kg with the battery makes it even safer to use.

The chainsaw also comes with the manufacturers 2 year warranty.
